Return Policy FAQs
For orders placed between Aug 1st and October 31st, 2024, no return or exchange will be allowed after October 20, 2024, for the following items:
- Halloween costumes
- Halloween decorations
- Costume accessories
- Halloween party supplies.
In store exchange for costumes, costume accessories, halloween decorations and party supplies are accepted as long the merchandise is new, unused, unworn, in unopened original packaging, and with all accessories. These items can't be refunded in store, exchange only.
Costumes must be exchanged within 10 days after the delivery date.

We happily accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt. Items must be new, unused, unworn, and in unopened packaging. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method for the full purchase price. Please refer to our return policy exceptions for items not covered by our standard return policy.

To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:
- Returns should be sent within 30 days from the order date.
- Returns must first be approved by our team or by our automated return system.
- Items returned for a refund will have a 10% restocking fee applied. However, there's no restocking fee for exchanges.
- Merchandise must be new, unused, in original packaging, and with all accessories.
- Returns should include the packing slip generated from the noted return process.
- Return shipping fees must be covered by the customer.
- Refunds will cover the item's cost minus the 10% restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refunded.
Yes, you can return your items bought online in any Party Expert store. In-store returns won't be charged restocking fees. Please review the Return & Exchange Policy before going in store for a return.
If you have order issues, contact our customer service within 14 days. We'll address concerns and may send replacements using the original shipping method. If a replacement is sent, return the initial items with our free label. Charges may apply for unreturned items. For questions, call us, send us an email or use our website's live chat.
Packages sent to incorrect addresses given by customers may incur a $10 fee if the courier adjusts the address. Canada orders deemed undeliverable can result in a $15 charge, while international orders may have return shipping fees determined by package size and location. Undeliverable reasons include wrong addresses, customer unavailability, or refused packages.
Items returned for a refund will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. However, there's no restocking fee for exchanges. Return shipping fees for a refund must be covered by the customer. The return shipping fee is calculated based on your region. The fee will never be more than $10 for Canada or $15 for the USA. For an exchange, you will be charged a lower return shipping fee that will cover the new shipment also.
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos of the defect or damage. Our customer service team will review the information provided. If the product is deemed defective or damaged, we will offer a resolution which may include a replacement or a refund. We will cover the return shipping costs for defective or damaged items. In most cases, we will request that you return the defective or damaged product, and we will provide a prepaid shipping label for the return. If the product is no longer in stock, we will offer you an alternative solution, which may include a similar product of equal value or a full refund. If you prefer a refund over a replacement, please inform our customer service team when you report the issue. We aim to process your claim within 7-10 business days after receiving the returned product, and refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear in your account.
